Two modern agricultural facilities were opened in the Vitebsk region
The "Kurino" production site includes an oilseed processing line, grain cleaning and drying complexes, and grain storage facilities for 36 thousand tons. The "Yanovichi" complex consists of two grain drying facilities and a grain storage facility for 15 thousand tons. Br17.2 million was invested in the projects.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, and Presidential Aide - Inspector for Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich.
According to Nikolai Sherstnev, the enterprise currently produces 60 thousand tons of meat. The plans are to reach 90 thousand tons. The facilities opened today are significant for the Vitebsk region: the factory is building a closed-loop production technology. "The enterprise's team today is an example for farmers not only of the Vitebsk region but also of the country. You must be independent in everything. Today, much has to be bought, and if a shortage arises, it costs three times as much. With such processing volumes, stability must be guaranteed," the governor addressed the factory workers and urged them to achieve independent production of 150-200 thousand tons of grain within three years.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Subbotin noted that the team loves the General Director Anna Norkus, and people follow the leader. This leads to good results in the factory's work. "I remember what it was like here before, and it is pleasant to see everything transforming. The main thing is to move forward at the planned pace. All government support will be provided to you," he said.
Anna Norkus, Director General of the Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Factory, added that two facilities were opened at the right time for the enterprise. "You want to do your job when you understand that it is needed by the region, by the country. This gives you wings," the head noted.
The feed production complex of the Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Factory includes a feed production workshop, a raw material silo and bagged storage section, an automation section, a production and technological laboratory, as well as a repair and mechanical section and the "Surazh" grain drying complex.
