Two residents of the Vitebsk region have fully recovered from coronavirus
Currently, a total of 17 people with detected coronavirus RNA are under medical observation in the regional infectious diseases hospital. Of these, five no longer shed the virus; they will be discharged home upon receiving repeated negative test results.
In addition, people from the first level of contact have been hospitalized in the regional infectious diseases hospital and other contact centers organized in the region. All of them currently have negative tests for COVID-19. After 14 days, they will also be discharged home.
To protect yourself, it is necessary to observe individual preventive measures. Medics advise avoiding crowded places, replacing travel on public transport with walking whenever possible, refraining from traveling to other settlements, and limiting social contacts.
Upon returning home from the street, it is necessary to thoroughly wash hands with alkaline soap (for at least 20 seconds). In workplaces, ventilate the premises regularly and systematically treat hands with alcohol-based sanitizers.
Elderly people, who are most susceptible to the disease and its severe forms, should preferably stay at home and not visit public places. Also in the risk group are people with chronic diseases of the bronchopulmonary and cardiovascular systems, and diabetes mellitus.
