The discussion "Vitebsk's Urban Identity" will take place in the regional center

An open discussion "Vitebsk's Urban Identity: Truth and Stereotypes" will begin at 6 p.m. on November 13 in the conference hall of the Vitebsk Hotel (5/2a Zamkovaya Street).

What is Vitebsk for its residents? What do tourists see in it, and where do these people come from? How and by whom is the city's image created? Does the perception of Vitebsk's rich cultural saturation stand up to comparison with other Belarusian cities?

The discussion participants will try to answer these and other questions. According to the organizers, the speakers are "key players in various spheres of the city's life."

"The discussion meeting will be of interest to specialists in fields such as urban planning, architecture, business, cultural activities, tourism, education, and others," said the event coordinator Vladimir Bulavsky.
