Day of Paratroopers and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus in Vitebsk (+photo report)

The celebration took place in the regional center on August 2.

The next anniversary of the formation of the airborne troops became special for the representatives of the 103rd mobile brigade: their unit was returned its historical name — the 103rd Guards Separate Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Order of Kutuzov II Class Airborne Brigade named after the 60th anniversary of the USSR. This will be an additional incentive for the soldiers to diligently improve their combat skills and be a reliable link in ensuring the independence of our country.

The celebration began at 10 a.m.: a rally was held on Victory Square, an honor guard company and hand-to-hand combat specialists performed, and servicemen demonstrated their skills in parachute jumps and driving combat vehicles. The program also included a concert with the participation of artistic groups, screenings of films about paratroopers, and much more.
