"Thank you" - Vitebsk paratroopers thanked medics for their work
Servicemembers of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade held an event today at their unit in support of Belarusian medics. Standing on the parade ground, the soldiers held sheets of paper with the word "дзякуй" (thank you), which the paratroopers shouted out several times.
Deputy Brigade Commander for Ideological Work, Guards Lieutenant Colonel Denis Kriventsov, said that with this event, the soldiers, on behalf of the command and personnel of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus, expressed their gratitude to the medics for their work. "Servicemembers follow the situation in the country through the news. It is gratifying that our society has united to confront the problem. Everyone is trying to help in their own way, and we also decided to support medical workers in their difficult task," said Denis Kriventsov.
According to him, the airborne brigade is taking necessary measures to prevent infections, and temperature is measured twice a day.
Across the country, businesses and public organizations have joined in helping medics. Some provide them with personal protective equipment, and cafes deliver free lunches.
