The efficient use of funds must become the most important principle in the Year of Thrift
The efficiency of financial resource utilization should become the most important principle of activity for all economic entities. This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by Lyudmila Dobrynina, Chairperson of the House of Representatives Standing Commission on Budget and Finance, commenting on the declaration of 2013 as the Year of Thrift in Belarus.
The task of economical use of finances should be addressed by all enterprises and institutions, regardless of their form of ownership. It is also relevant for budgetary organizations, believes the deputy. "The cost of money is currently very high, so its rational use is very important. Special attention should be paid to the efficiency of using funds allocated for the implementation of state programs," Lyudmila Dobrynina emphasized.
According to the head of the parliamentary commission, holding the Year of Thrift will allow concentrating efforts on increasing labor productivity and the economical use of all types of resources.
2013 has been declared the Year of Thrift in Belarus by Decree No. 537, signed on November 29.
