An effective labor incentive system must be created in the Vitebsk region - N. Domashkevich
October 12, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. An effective system of labor incentives needs to be developed in the Vitebsk region. This task was set today by the President's Aide for the Vitebsk Region, Chief Inspector Nikolai Domashkevich, to the heads of the region's districts and departments at a coordination meeting on combating crime and corruption, BELTA correspondent reports.
According to him, together with trade unions, department heads should develop measures for moral and material incentives for employees for high production results and labor achievements in the near future, which can truly interest people in working better, observing labor discipline, and strictly fulfilling their duties.
"To date, there is no effective system of labor incentives in the region," said Nikolai Domashkevich. According to him, this is evidenced by the widespread drunkenness and sloppiness among employees of the agro-industrial complex, irresponsible attitude towards work equipment and materials in the construction industry, inaction of local officials, as well as a significant number of thefts. In the overall structure of crimes, their share at the end of nine months is over 70%. In total, over 7,000 such offenses were committed in the region in January-September, most of which are related to encroachments on state property.
"It is necessary to create conditions for people to strive to work effectively, then the prosecutor's office and the police will have less work, and the economy will improve," believes the President's Aide. -0-
