Anyone can save

A training seminar for the district's ideological activists was held in Glubokoye. Among the main areas of work is the implementation of energy saving measures. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Oleg Mokhat, noted that according to the district energy saving program, 91 measures will be implemented. The expected savings of fuel and energy resources this year will exceed 4.2 thousand tons of conventional fuel.
 
In 2012, UP ZhKH spent 3.5 billion rubles on replacing worn-out heating networks, pumping equipment, installing energy-saving lighting devices, etc. The consumption of light petroleum products in Glubokoye was reduced by 980.7 tons of conventional fuel, and the schedule for harvesting waste paper, cardboard, and collecting and shipping tires was fulfilled by 100%.
 
"The share of local fuels in the total consumption of boiler and furnace fuel exceeded 47% with a target of 45%," noted O. Mokhat, "but this is not the limit."
 
There are 137 heat sources in the district, 109 of which run on local fuels, and 12 run on natural gas. The share of the population in the total consumption of fuel and energy resources is 18%. Therefore, according to the chairman of the district executive committee, the work of ideological services with the residents of the district on the issue of harvesting firewood by their own efforts remains relevant. This will save budget funds. By the way, last year the volume of subsidies directed from the district budget to compensate for the difference in prices for solid fuels for the population amounted to 3.8 billion rubles.
 
At the seminar, Glubokoye schoolchildren presented video presentations of the most interesting energy-saving developments in everyday life. Winners of the regional stage of the republican competition of school projects on energy efficiency "Energy and Environment" gymnasium students Andrey Anisovich, Svetlana Telitsa, Yulia Baran presented a joint project "Dry leaves as an energy source", and a laureate of the same competition, a tenth-grader from Praszkowszczyzna Secondary School, Konstantin Kmita, presented the project "Banya: fashionable and economical".
 
The participants of the gymnasium agitation team "Forward Lookers", who became winners of the regional competition "Energomarathon", once again reminded about the rational use of natural resources.
