Electrification and heating became the main topics of residents' appeals to Anatoly Linevich in the Liozno district

Residents of the Liozno district raised issues concerning the electrification and connection of electric heating boilers, as well as housing and communal services problems, with the President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, during a direct phone line and a personal reception at the district executive committee.

The President's Aide reviewed eight appeals from Liozno and the district, including collective ones. Anatoly Linevich took all issues under his personal control and issued instructions to local authorities and responsible services.

A pensioner from Dobromysli had three questions. The local housing and communal services enterprise is not connecting heat meters, although a similar meter is already installed in an identical apartment building nearby. The head of the district housing and communal services noted that the applicant's house has already been included in the plan, and a heat meter will be installed for the residents of the agro-town by the next heating season. The second issue raised by the residents of this house concerned gasification. The head of the district gas service noted that it is possible to supply the house with gas, but first, a meeting of the residents must be held, and they must give their consent to the procedure. The resolution of another issue remained with the applicant himself: wild ungulates are entering his garden and neighboring plots, damaging the vegetable beds. Anatoly Linevich pointed out that the owners must take care of their land and harvest independently by fencing off their plots from forest dwellers.

A pensioner from Liozno, registered in Vitebsk, inquired about how she could use her "Housing" checks. At the district executive committee, the applicant was informed that the deadlines for re-registration had passed, and it was no longer possible to resolve the issue even through court proceedings. Nevertheless, the President's Aide will invite the woman to a meeting at the regional executive committee, where competent specialists will clarify the situation for her.

A mother of many children from Liozno contacted the direct line regarding an electric heating boiler. She has been on the waiting list for its installation for two years and wishes to expedite the process. The head of the district electricity network service noted that the networks on that street are not powerful enough and require reconstruction. Anatoly Linevich instructed to resolve the issue, find funds for the network upgrade, and provide residents with quality services. "Come to me with the head of Vitebskenergo, and we will discuss thisquestion, if necessary, I will contact the Minister of Energy. It is unacceptable when some residents of a locality have electric heating boilers, while others have to wait for the networks to be updated. The principle of fairness is violated, so this issue must be raised at a high level," emphasized Anatoly Linevich.

A pensioner from Liozno saved up for an electric boiler and its installation, but, as it turned out, she also needs to pay for a new electricity meter. She is willing to take the device on credit or in installments, but she cannot afford the conditions offered by banks with interest rates above 20%. Anatoly Linevich promised to help choose a credit program, including discussing this issue with the manufacturer and the executor - "Vitebskenergo". Unlike gas companies, which offer heating boilers to consumers, energy companies do not sell electricity meters. "Take an example from the gas service, try to purchase meters yourself and offer people comprehensive services so that they don't have to buy everything separately," suggested the President's Aide.

Similar problems with electrification are faced by residents of Yakubovskshchina and Babinovichi. Both settlements are under the control of "Vitebskenergo", but the construction and reconstruction of power grids there will not happen soon: in Babinovichi, the work will be completed in 2023, and in Yakubovskshchina - in 2026. Anatoly Linevich will consider both issues with the management of the relevant service and inform the applicants whether it will be possible to shorten these deadlines.

A resident of Babinovichi, a group 2 disabled person, appealed to the President's Aide regarding employment. The woman would like to find home-based work for a relative, also a group 2 disabled person, who is dependent on her. The district executive committee is aware of this family's problem and provides targeted assistance annually. There are some difficulties with the employment of the disabled man: there are no enterprises in Liozno and the district that could provide home-based work, and even in Vitebsk there are none. Moreover, the man has been declared legally incompetent. He can engage in labor, but under the supervision of a guardian. Anatoly Linevich instructed to study the issue more deeply and search for employment opportunities.

"Today in Liozno district, the priorityThe issue of heating and connecting electric boilers is of particular concern. All appeals will be taken under control; it is impossible to resolve them immediately. There are certain legal frameworks, but nevertheless, all appeals can be considered, refined, and people's requests can be satisfied. They need to be communicated with. In other respects, citizens' issues concerned housing and communal services problems, bringing residential buildings into order, and landscaping. All these issues are under the control of the local authorities, and they will all be resolved," Anatoly Linevich summarized.
