Elena Vaenga could not be "driven" from the stage of the Summer Amphitheater in Vitebsk
July 14, Vitebsk / Tatyana Pastushenko - BELTA/. Singer Elena Vaenga, who gave a solo concert at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk the day before, could not be "ushered" off the stage by the organizers, reports a BELTA correspondent.
Coming out to the audience, Elena greeted everyone: those sitting in the hall, those watching her from the windows of nearby houses, and those who, in her words, were "hanging on the fence around the stage." The performer immediately warned: the concert could not possibly last the planned two hours. And even if the famous Pyatnitsky Russian Choir is breathing down her neck, risking missing their return train due to the delayed performance, Elena will not leave the stage until she sings everything she planned for her beloved fans. "I promise that my next concert will be organized differently: it will start no earlier than nine in the evening and will last as long as you want," said the artist. Fans of Vaenga's work thanked her heartily with applause and a huge number of flowers - by the third song, there was no place left to put the bouquets on the grand piano standing on the stage. By the way, as it turned out, even the youngest are ardent fans of Vaenga - children, like adults, came on stage to communicate with the artist.
True, the concert was not without unforeseen circumstances: Elena, who went into the auditorium, unexpectedly forgot the words of the song she was performing and honestly admitted it to her fans. They were not upset and supported their idol with thunderous applause. Inspired by the audience, Elena finished singing.
As a result, Elena Vaenga's performance lasted three hours. Neither the organizers' persuasion nor the signs they made to her from behind the scenes could make her leave the stage. Having performed the best compositions from her repertoire, Russian and Belarusian folk songs, Elena Vaenga left to prepare for a new performance, promising, of course, to soon return to the grateful Belarusian audience.-0-
