Energy workers of Belarus and Russia will hold exercises in the Orsha district
Energy workers of Belarus and Russia will hold joint exercises in the Orsha district. The event will take place from August 14 to 16 at the branch "Orsha Electric Networks" of RUP "Vitebskenergo", RUP "Vitebskenergo" reported.
Mobile units of "Vitebskenergo", "Mogilevenergo" and the branch of PJSC "MRSK Tsentra" - "Smolenskenergo" are involved in the exercise. The theme will be the elimination of the consequences of mass power outages of distribution network facilities of the Vitebsk region energy system in the Dubrovno district, caused by the impact of dangerous meteorological phenomena, such as gusty squally winds, heavy precipitation, thunderstorms.
Special attention will be paid to the organization of comprehensive interaction of mobile forces and means during emergency recovery work and mutual assistance in eliminating the consequences of technological violations in the power grid complex between the organizations of SPO "Belenergo" and PJSC "Rosseti".
Joint exercises of mobile units of energy workers from the two countries have been held since 2015 in accordance with the agreement on strategic cooperation between "Belenergo" and "Rosseti".
