Yergalі Bulegenov: Vitebsk region and Kazakhstan have huge potential for cooperation

Vitebsk region and Kazakhstan have huge cooperation potential. This was stated to journalists by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus Yergalі Bulegenov, who today took part in the VI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" in Vitebsk.

"This forum, I am sure, will help expand trade and economic cooperation with many states. With Kazakhstan, Vitebsk region, compared to other regions of Belarus, unfortunately, has a small turnover. But the potential is huge. And this is clearly visible here, at the forum. We have already talked with the mayor of Vitebsk. I will work to find a twin city for your regional center among the cities of Kazakhstan. And this will also be a support for both states in strengthening trade and economic relations," the diplomat said.

"There are many guests from different countries of the world at the forum. I am happy about this," the ambassador noted. "Belarus and Kazakhstan are together in a single Eurasian Economic Union. The overall state of the EAEU depends on how we develop together, how the economy of the participating countries grows. And we need a strong union." He emphasized that an economic upswing is noticeable in Kazakhstan. There are enterprises that produce products no inferior to world brands, just like in Belarus, the diplomat noted. "Within the union, cooperation between these enterprises must be developed," believes Yergalі Bulegenov.
