The Flame of Peace torch relay of the II European Games will be held in Braslav on May 26
The torchbearers will be: Dmitry Saikov, a well-known psychotherapist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, TV presenter; Vladimir Matveev, Head of the Department for освещение деятельности Президента Республики Беларусь at RUP "BELTA"; Svyatoslav Poznyak, arranger, composer, laureate of the National Music Award; and Sergey Shchemelev, Chairman of the public association "Belarusian Archery Federation". They will run through the entire city, passing the Flame from hand to hand, from heart to heart.
The program includes a meeting with students of the sailing school, yachting, visits to Zamkovaya Gora and Mayak Gora, a theatrical musical performance about the founding of the city of Braslav, "The Legend of Prince Bras", for the participants of the relay, a solemn ceremony of meeting the torchbearers with the population, their awarding, and the transfer of the flame to a lamp.
From Braslav, the torchbearers with the "Flame of Peace" will travel to Miory, where they will visit the republican reserve "Yelnya".
