NaviBand soloists Artem and Ksenia Lukyanenko took part in the "Flame of Peace" relay race in the Gluboksky district. They were offered to carry the torch in the center of Minsk, but they chose the unique dendrological garden of the State Forestry Institution "Gluboksky Experimental Forestry", which many specialists call a miniature planet.

– I want to wish that each of us burns as brightly inside as the "Flame of Peace" fire, – for our beloved profession, hobby, to strive for our dreams, – noted Artem. – Thanks to the relay race, Belarusians have another amazing opportunity to show the whole world how beautiful our country is, its nature, its centuries-old cultural heritage. Glubotchyna is my small homeland, which I love boundlessly, and which I am proud of.

The relay race on the territory of the Gluboksky district started at the cultural and dendrological complex of the village of Mosar. Svetlana Skovyirko, a folk master of Belarus from Glubokoye, ran through the territory called the "Belarusian Versailles" by tourists. The celebration continued with the concert program "Folk Motifs", the exhibition-fair "Gluboksky Souvenir", and the ethno-disco "Round Dance of Friendship".

On the same day, a torchbearers' race took place along the workshops of the Gluboksky Dairy and Canning Plant. Among others, Tatyana Bortkevich, a teacher of the Belarusian language and literature at the district gymnasium and an excellent student of education, participated in it.

After that, the relay race participants headed to the arboretum, which is a natural monument of republican significance, the second largest dendrarium in Belarus in terms of size and species diversity after the Minsk Botanical Garden.

Ksenia Lukyanenko, accompanied by the keepers of the fire, ran along the majestic alleys. The solemn handover of the relay took place near the artificial reservoirs.

Throughout the route, the torchbearers were supported by enthusiastic spectators, including students of the state vocational lyceum, schoolchildren, and the best athletes and coaches of the district. At the finish line, the participants were greeted by the exemplary brass band of the Glubokoye Children's Art School and the exemplary drum majorette ensemble "Vivat".
