"Farynovskaya Marka" gathers friends in Polotsk district
The "Farinovskaya Marka" festival for people of all ages will be held in the Polotsk district, as reported by the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
The event will take place on August 10 in the village of Farinovo, with a population of about 3,000 people. The open-air event includes a variety of blocks tailored to different age categories, and therefore enjoys constant popularity among both local residents and visitors to the settlement.
The concert "Live and Prosper, Beloved Land!" will open the festival. After that, everyone will easily find entertainment to their own taste. Sports and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts will be awaited at the start of the "Running-Cycling-Compote" relay race.
All those who wish are invited to participate in it; the main thing is to bring a scooter, bicycle, or roller skates. In the "That Very Grandma" super-contest, the most erudite, athletic, stylish, musical, and creative ladies of the village of Farinovo aged 50+ will compete. Contestants will have to solve crosswords at speed, demonstrate their ability to use the internet, and overcome a series of other challenges, based on the results of which the jury will determine and award the main winner.
By popular vote, festival guests will choose the "Golden Voice of Farinovo" from ten participants in the music competition. Contestants will perform one song of their choice, and voting will take place immediately after the performances in an open format. Registration for these contests is required in advance, organizers warn. A lot of fun awaits the youth too: at the festival, they will be offered to test their strength and youthful prowess in the "Curling with Basins" competition and complete an obstacle course. The Farinovo nursery-kindergarten is preparing a block of fun relays and contests for parents with children. The festival will conclude with a "Holly Style" party and a disco.
