The Belarusian Horse Festival will be opened by "Zaborski Fest" in the Rossony district

The Belarusian Horse Festival will open the "Zaborski Fest" in the Rossony district, the Rossony District Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The unusual festival, with horses as the main stars, will be held for the first time in Belarus on June 5-6. Its program includes an exhibition sale of horses and tack, trail riding competitions, educational seminars with the participation of horse breeding specialists, and numerous entertainment activities for the whole family: contests, horse rides, and a costume parade of these animals. The second part of the "Zaborski Fest" events will take place on June 12-13. On the first day, presentations of tourist routes prepared by various tour operators from Minsk, Vitebsk, and Polotsk are planned, as well as an introduction to the best agro-eco-estates in the district. A fair of folk craftsmen will open, featuring products made of clay and straw, weaving, wood carving, and embroidery. When your eyes get tired from the colorful variety of goods offered, you can attend a theatrical performance, a concert by amateur groups from 15 rural cultural centers of the district, go for a horse ride, or take part in an entertainment and game program. In the evening, festival guests can expect a screening of historical films, a bard song concert by the campfire, and a disco for young people. June 13 also promises to be eventful. On this day, the Fisherman's Festival will be held on the shore of Lake Beloye. Its participants will be able not only to compete in fishing luck but also to taste dishes made from their catch. The festival is designed to promote the tourist potential of the Rossony district. It is organized by the Rossony District Executive Committee and the public association "Rest in the Village." -0-
