The "Japanese Autumn" festival will be held in Vitebsk

Фестиваль «Японская осень» пройдет в Витебске

The city on the Dvina River has been included in the "Japanese Autumn in Belarus" festival program. As part of this project, which is being held for the third year, a concert of Japanese piano music will take place for the first time at the regional philharmonic hall on November 26. It will be presented by composer and pianist Tempei Nakamura.

Tempei Nakamura studied music at Osaka University of Arts and later in New York. He performed a solo concert at one of the world's most prestigious concert venues – Carnegie Hall in New York, tours extensively in Europe, and has released three albums. A separate project of the pianist is the "Secret Concert Tour," with which he travels deep into the mountains of the Kii Peninsula in Japan, known for its centuries-old history.

As explained by the organizers of the concert by the guest from the Land of the Rising Sun, the program includes works created under the impression of travels around Japan and other countries. Tempei Nakamura uses various styles for composing music, but he is based on classical Japanese motifs.
