The border youth festival will be held in Vitebsk
The geography of the forum participants covers the entire Vitebsk region, as well as dozens of regions of the Russian Federation. Representatives from Bryansk, Tomsk, Omsk, Yaroslavl, Engels, Volgograd, Smolensk, and Ulan-Ude (Buryatia) will come to the city on the Dvina River.
As part of the festival, the media project competition "If They Say the Word Motherland?" and the Russian-Belarusian meeting of young teachers will be held. Discussion platforms "Interregional Cooperation" and "Blagotvoru" will operate, where experts from two countries will speak – specialists in various fields of modern knowledge and communications, scientists, educators, representatives of authorities, local self-government, and public organizations. For young people, they have prepared master classes, special training sessions and workshops, round tables, etc.
For example, an open dialogue for young journalists "Small Motherland in the Focus of Regional Television" will be held at VSU named after P. Masherov, where employees of TRK "Vitebsk" will talk about the specifics of preparing stories and programs for a local channel.
At the Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth, future diplomats and parliamentarians will meet with the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, participate in a training session by the President of the Center for Support and Development of Public Initiatives "Creative Diplomacy" Natalia Burlinova, and discuss the prospects for interaction between the youth of the regions of Russia and Belarus and the implementation of joint projects.
The organizers of the festival "Where Does the Motherland Begin?" are the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, the Smolensk organization of the Russian Union of Youth, and Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov.
