The #Pioneria100 festival brought together the most active and creative children of the Vitebsk region

The #Pioneria100 creativity festival brought together the most active, successful, and creative children from different regions of Vitebsk Oblast, as well as their adult guests. Participants of the celebration, organized at the regional palace of children and youth, vividly marked the centenary of the largest children's movement in Belarus. They sang, danced, took memorable photos in the BRSM photo zones, competed for victory in a cartoon quiz, and drew the mascot of our pioneers – the lynx Ogonek.

Among those who joined the atmosphere of celebration, smiles, friendship, and happiness with the boys and girls today were the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin and the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for Vitebsk Oblast Anatoly Linevich. For the adults present, the festival served as a reminder of their own pioneer childhood.

— I still remember how we prepared to join the pioneers, how we learned the oath. I remember the day I was first given a pioneer tie, and with what pride we wore it, — said Alexander Subbotin. — We all understood that the pioneer tie was a part of our banner, the banner of our country.

Leaving a festive wish next to the autographs of other participants, the head of the region wrote the famous motto "Be Ready!".

— So that pioneers are always ready to learn, to help, to lend a shoulder, and to become true citizens of Belarus, — explained the chairman of the regional executive committee.

The chairperson of the regional council of the BRSM, Irina Elenskaya, reminded about the glorious traditions that pioneers continue today.

— Millions of people have gone through the upbringing by the pioneer organization, including world-renowned scientists, heroes of labor and sports, — she emphasized. — It is important that the modern generation of boys and girls remembers the past, lives worthily in the present, and clearly sees their future, knows the truth, and proudly wears the pioneer tie on their chest.
