The Orthodox Culture Festival "Kladez" has begun in Vitebsk
Many townspeople visited the Orthodox exhibition fair on this day. Here, all believers could touch a shrine famous in the Orthodox world – the icon of the healer Panteleimon with particles of the relics of the holy apostles Peter and Paul.
— The festival of Orthodox culture "Kladets" has been held in Belarus since 2008, — Tatiana Tikhonova, one of its organizers, told our correspondent. — The project idea belongs to the St. Elisabeth Convent and the Sisterhood in honor of the Reverend Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth (Minsk). During this time, we have visited more than fifty cities in Belarus.
"Kladets" holds meetings in various directions (twenty-four projects in total), the most important of which are: "Good Cinema", "We Will Not Leave You as Orphans", performances of the folk puppet theater "Batleyka" for the youngest viewers, "Belarusian Hut", thanks to which people can learn about the ancient way of life of a Belarusian family and Christian family values in raising children.
