The rural tourism festival "Zaborski Fest" will be held in June in the Vitebsk region

May 18, Minsk / Andrey Asfura - BELTA /. The rural tourism festival "Zaborsky Fest" will be held in the Rossony district of the Vitebsk region on June 13-14. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the head of the physical culture, sports and tourism department of the Rossony District Executive Committee, Oksana Potapova. On the first day, festival participants will gather in the village of Zaborie: both local artists and invited musical groups from Minsk will entertain the audience. In addition, folk craftsmen will demonstrate their works and decorative and applied art items. On the second day, the festival will move to other villages and settlements of the Rossony district. Everyone will be able to visit a partisan dugout or a house-museum of partisan glory. In addition, as part of the festival, the "Fisherman's Holiday" will be held on Lake Beloye Yukhovskoye. The "Zaborsky Fest" is aimed at supporting small entrepreneurial activities in the agro-ecotourism industry. The festival organizers also aim to help the local population. "Some people host tourists, some produce dairy products, some are passionate about crafts - rural tourism helps people who do what they like to earn money from it," believes Oksana Potapova. The festival is organized by the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism in conjunction with the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Rossony District Executive Committee. In addition to Belarusians, foreign delegates will take part in the event. -0-
