The Vitebskenergo branch in the Orsha district has increased its production of frozen products
The "Teplichny" branch has been operating a shock freezing line with modern equipment for the third year. The complex includes a production area, six storage chambers for 890 tons of products, utility rooms, and a packaging area. After preliminary processing, raw materials enter a fluid-bed quick freezer tunnel. The "boiling layer" technology used in production allows any product to be frozen with minimal quality loss within 8-15 seconds to a temperature of minus 18 degrees Celsius. The equipment's capacity is from 1.5 to 1.8 tons per hour.

"The workshop operates in two shifts, and we mainly grow all our products in our own greenhouses. Our goods are supplied to the Belarusian market and to Russia. The revenue from the sale of products from the freezing line for 9 months amounted to Br1.74 million, an increase of 130.4% compared to the 2020 level. A total of 1560 tons of products were processed in January-September, an increase of 5%," noted Tatyana Yaskevich, Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs of the branch.
The range of products manufactured by the "Teplichny" branch includes 22 items. In addition to common vegetables and berries (potatoes, carrots, cabbage, raspberries, strawberries, and others), they also freeze broccoli, cauliflower, champignons, and blackberries. Juices are also produced here.
The "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo" is a diversified agricultural enterprise specializing in the production of protected and open-ground vegetables (52% of production), milk (23%), cattle breeding, and product processing. Over 480 people work at "Teplichny". -0-
