The final of the republican festival "Art Vacations" in Orsha gathered about 40 teams from all over Belarus
In total, according to Tatiana Simanovskaya, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Education of Belarus, 266 institutions, 17 thousand students, and over one and a half thousand creative groups and individual performers took part in the project.
It is noteworthy that this year, young men were more active than ever at the gala concert. They set the tone both at the youth gathering, which took place on the eve of the final day, and on the main stage of "Art-vacations". Moreover, the young people represented not at all institutions related to creativity, but agricultural, machine tool, and machine-building colleges and lyceums.
– "Art-vacations" is an experimental educational project aimed at developing artistic and aesthetic, vocal and instrumental creativity, – said Tatiana Simanovskaya. – Each region delegated the most creative young people.
It is no coincidence that "Art-vacations – 2019" was held under the motto "Youth Creativity – the Word of the Future".
– Such events are the image of the region, an opportunity to showcase oneself, one's potential. To show that the region is developing, to share experience, to look at others, – noted Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. – Vocational education institutions are acquiring machinery and equipment, resource centers are being created. And within the framework of the work being carried out today in the country and the region, it is very important that Orsha becomes a platform for large-scale events.
Following the results of the Republican Festival of Artistic Creativity of Students and Youth "ART-vacations – 2019", the following were awarded special diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus:
- For effective work on civic-patriotic education and the efficient implementation of innovative forms of youth artistic creativity, the Main Department for Education of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee (Head: Songin Alexander Genrikhovich) is awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For effective activities in implementing innovative approaches and effective forms of popularizing working professions through artistic creativity, the Main Department for Education of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee (Head: Apranich Tatyana Valentinovna) is awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For a significant contribution to the organization and high-level conduct of the final events of the republican festival, the Main Department for Education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee (Head: Khoma Dmitry Leonidovich) is awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For a significant contribution to aesthetic education, preservation of traditions and popularization of achievements in artistic creativity of students, the educational institution "Mogilev State Economic Vocational-Technical College" (Director Baganovich Oleg Adamovich) is awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For a significant contribution to aesthetic education, preservation of traditions and development of mass forms of artistic creativity of students, the educational institution "State Vocational-Technical College of Baking Industry" (Director Basalyga Vladimir Ivanovich) is awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For the effective implementation of innovative forms of artistic and aesthetic education, and many years of successful activity in the development of modern trends in youth creativity, the Choreographic ensemble "Thirst" (Leader Shevtsov Yuri Vladimirovich) and the Educational Institution "Rogaсhev State Vocational-Technical College of Builders" are awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For many years of successful activity in civic-patriotic education, and the implementation of modern approaches to fostering students' interest in the history and culture of Belarus, the People's Vocal Ensemble "Vesna" (Leader Shibuneyeva Tatiana Igorevna) of the Polotsk College of the Educational Institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" is awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

- For many years of fruitful work in preserving and popularizing the achievements of amateur creativity of students of vocational education institutions, and developing mass forms of youth artistic creativity, the State Educational Institution "Brest Regional Center for Innovation and Technical Creativity" (Director: Valyach Tatyana Petrovna) is awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
- For many years of fruitful work in preserving and popularizing the achievements of amateur creativity of students of vocational education institutions, identifying and supporting creative innovations of youth, the State Institution "Gomel Regional House of Students and Employees of Vocational Education Institutions" (Director: Kuzmitskaya Irina Alekseevna) is awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
