July 21, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. The Vitebsk Regional Property Fund sold unused real estate objects for over Br500 million in July, the head of the fund's auctions and tenders department, Larisa Shcheglova, told a BELTA correspondent.
As a result of four July auctions, four buildings and structures with a total area of almost 1.1 thousand sq.m. were put into economic circulation. Thus, a new owner will breathe a second life into a two-story building in Vitebsk, which is an architectural monument and is included in the list of historical and cultural value buildings of the 3rd category "Development of Smolenskaya Square of the late 19th - early 20th century." This object became the most expensive acquisition in July, for which the auction participant paid about Br354 million for the brick building with an extension with a total area of almost 339 sq.m.
The most exciting auction of the month was the bidding using the Dutch auction method, which offered an unused shop building with three extensions in the Miory district center. The object with a starting price of Br105 million attracted four potential buyers, one of whom, at the second step of the auctioneer, not waiting for further price reduction of the lot, expressed readiness to buy the real estate for almost Br76 million. In total, two successful auctions were held in July using the Dutch auction method during the bidding. The former bath and laundry complex building in the Braslav district was also sold using the Dutch auction method for almost Br29 million.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund has held 20 successful auctions, selling over 50 real estate objects and rights to conclude land lease agreements for a total amount of over Br2.4 billion, including six successful auctions for the sale of 11 real estate objects with a starting price set at one base value.-0-
