A forest park, horse riding tours, and a floating house will appear in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve

This is how the staff of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve plan to surprise tourists in their 90th anniversary year. In 2015, they plan to commission a floating house, the project for which is already ready. The issue of creating a forest park – a rope attraction in the crowns of trees – is being worked out. It is highly probable that this initiative will be implemented this year. By mid-summer, the reserve staff intend to organize horse tours. A plot of land and horses – the most docile and beautiful ones – have already been selected. Initially, the innovation will be tested on the long-standing hiking trail "Kamennaia plita" (Stone Slab) with a length of 7 km. In addition, it will be possible to ride horses in an enclosure near the Forest Zoo.

Overall, much has been done recently at the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve to make it comfortable and interesting for tourists: the hotel complex "Plavno" has been renovated, guest houses have been built near the lake of the same name, a cafe has been opened in the tourist complex "Nivki", and there are plans to build a bathhouse. Significant work has been done on the reconstruction of the Forest Zoo, which is currently the most visited facility in the reserve. New routes are being laid. By the way, the combined 100-kilometer cycling and water tour "To the Upper Reaches of the Berezina", which was launched in 2014, is very popular. In the past navigation season, demand exceeded supply. So, they do not intend to rest on their laurels, because tourists are capricious people, and they need to be constantly surprised.
