PHOTO FACT: A forum of young leaders from the border regions of Belarus and Russia was held in the Dubrovno district

The Forum of Young Leaders of the Border Regions of Belarus and Russia, dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the Two Countries, was held on April 2 in the Dubrovno district.

Young leaders of organizations, enterprises, public associations, and deputies from the Dubrovno, Gorodok, and Liozno districts took part in the event from the Belarusian side. From the Russian side, deputies, heads of districts of the region, and representatives of the youth parliament participated. The delegates visited the "Rylionki" memorial complex, where they took part in the BRSM patriotic project "Memory of the Heart." They laid flowers at the memorial and formed a heart out of lit lamps. A meeting with the district leadership in the format of an open dialogue and the #IAmALeader training took place in the building of the Dnieper Manufactory, one of the oldest Belarusian enterprises. Then, the participants visited the workshops and warehouses of the Dubrovno Flax Mill.

The Forum of Young Leaders of the Border Regions was organized by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM in conjunction with the Smolensk Regional Organization of the Russian Youth Union, as well as the Dubrovno District Executive Committee and the District Council of Deputies.
