PHOTO FACT: Rescuers organized a large-scale celebration in Vitebsk on Children's Day

Crawling races, a parade of baby carriages and bicycles shaped like fire trucks, a fashion show of young rescuers – all this and much more was organized on Victory Square in Vitebsk on June 1st, marking the grand finale of the MES’s nationwide campaign "Do not leave children alone!".

 

Girls and boys participated in themed game contests organized by employees of the regional Department of Emergency Situations, OSVOD, and the Vitebsk Branch of the State Energy Supervision for the Vitebsk Region. The bravest tested their mettle on the attractions "Merry Climber," "Smoke Screen," and "Hit the Target." Mascots entertained the children, and everyone could leave a selfie as a souvenir in the photo zone or in the cabin of a fire and rescue vehicle.

The best children's ensembles of the regional center prepared a rich concert program for all attendees – the Honored Amateur Ensemble of the Republic of Belarus, the choreographic ensemble "Zorka," the children's theater-circus studio "Amadina," the folk group "Vytoki," the children's choir "Bolshoy," the exemplary choreographic ensemble "Veselaya karusel," the exemplary vocal ensemble "LADA," the dance studio "DARIDANCE," the children's studio "Gulliver and the Lilliputians," the studio "SliVKi dance," and many others.

The event organizers are the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Vitebsk Regional Branch of Belgosstrakh, and the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society.
