Camera traps force the removal of garbage near container sites in Tolochin

Tolochna utility workers are using camera traps to identify those who dump garbage near container sites.

This refers to bulky and plant waste. In the run-up, announcements were posted and information was provided in the district newspaper about the installation of equipment that records violations.

Two camera traps operate in one location for two to three days, then are moved to another. As Valery Pryadka, head of the district inspection of natural resources and environmental protection, said, this innovation is paying off. One offender has already been fined 105 rubles, a warning has been issued to a second, and the identities of nine more people are being established.

In addition, according to Tolochna Housing and Communal Services, the number of transport orders for the removal of bulky waste has increased.
