─ My main task is to ensure a decent standard of living for every citizen, ─ said Galina Vladimirovna.
As noted by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, much has been done in the Beshenkovichi District by the previous leaders. Leonid Penkovsky initiated the development of the industrial sector. This activity was continued by Andrey Bulavkin, who today heads one of the seven agro-industrial associations of the Vitebsk region based at the Orsha Meat Canning Plant.
At the same time, the Beshenkovichi District currently faces a number of challenges, the head of the region noted. Special attention must be paid to the development of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex, and order must be established in the farms. Each farm should improve its quality indicators, increase production, tighten control and discipline, while ensuring a decent level of wages and creating conditions for young specialists who wish to work for the benefit of their native district.
The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee believes that Galina Vladimirovna will be able to utilize her knowledge and experience and will do everything necessary for the district to develop confidently and fulfill all state programs.
Anatoly Linevich, the Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus and Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, wished Galina Unukovich success in solving the set tasks.
