The tour of the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre named after L. Yakobson will be held in Vitebsk to a full house
November 27, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The tour of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre named after L. Jacobson will be held in Vitebsk to a full house. Svetlana Dashkevich, head of the literary department of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Drama Theatre, informed a BELTA correspondent about this.
The tour of the St. Petersburg troupe was initially planned from November 30 to December 3. Their best productions were announced in the poster: the ballets "Romeo and Juliet" by Sergei Prokofiev, "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and "Spartacus" by Aram Khachaturian. However, given the increased interest in classical art from Vitebsk theatergoers, who instantly bought up all the tickets, the visit of the Russian guests was extended. On an additional day to the main tour - November 29 - they will perform the famous "Swan Lake".
Meanwhile, while the troupe of the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre will shine on the Vitebsk stage, the Yanka Kupala Theatre company will delight residents of Russia with their art. Vitebsk artists will present their comedy performances "Odnoklassniki" and "O-la-la" ("Vot tabe i Hanna!") in Bryansk, Oryol, and Smolensk, where they are also already expected. -0-
