MTZ General Director presented Shumilino District Gymnasium with a certificate for tractor equipment
Distinguished guests, including Director General of MTZ Vitaly Vovk, visited the Shumilino District Gymnasium. Long-time friends of the educational institution brought gifts for the gymnasium students on the eve of the New Year. "This is a very significant event for us. Vitaly Vovk presented a certificate for the purchase of tractor attachments for the tractor we have. This is also a gift from MTZ," said Larisa Molodechkina.
This is not the only New Year's gift from the plant to the Shumilino Gymnasium. The guests presented each gymnasium student with sweets and souvenir products with the MTZ logo. A certificate for Br7 thousand was also donated for the needs of the educational institution. "We need a mower, a rotary tiller, and a potato digger. We will buy one of these, depending on what we can afford," added the head of the gymnasium.
The friendship between the plant workers and the schoolchildren of Shumilino began 5 years ago when Larisa Molodechkina sent a letter to the enterprise's management asking for a mini-tractor as a gift. "We were ready to accept any experimental model. Even a small tractor would have been enough for us. The gymnasium has its own subsidiary farm, and it was difficult to cultivate the land manually. When we had already forgotten about that letter, the plant management unexpectedly contacted us to clarify which model they would gift us," shared the gymnasium director.
The MTZ team has repeatedly invited gymnasium students from Shumilino to the New Year's concert, which traditionally takes place directly in the production workshop. "The students have enough impressions for a year. Before the trip to MTZ, a whole competition is held among the best students of the gymnasium. For boys and girls, visiting such an unusual celebration is one of the incentives to become leaders in their studies and to be active participants in various events at the gymnasium," noted Larisa Molodechkina. This year, due to the pandemic, the exciting trip was canceled. However, the visit of distinguished guests became a gift for the students and the teaching staff.
