The Prosecutor General's Office insists on strengthening the fight against drugs and improving work with teenagers
The Prosecutor General's Office insists on strengthening the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units for combating drugs and working with minors. This was stated in an interview with a BELTA correspondent by Prosecutor General of Belarus Alexander Konyuk.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs needs to intensify the fight against drugs. The level of latent crime in this area is very high," said the Prosecutor General. In turn, the prosecutor's offices will also strengthen prosecutorial supervision in this area.
According to the Prosecutor General, another important aspect of the activities of the internal affairs bodies should be working with minors. "This work has been somewhat weakened. Supervision and systematic work are needed," Alexander Konyuk is convinced. The Prosecutor General's Office will also strengthen its work in this direction.
