More than 400 people – representatives of enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the district – gathered to communicate with the head of the region, to hear about what is currently being done for the Orsha region and what will be accomplished by 2023.
Igor Isachenko noted that out of the five target indicators for the comprehensive development of the Orsha District, defined by the Development Program, three are being met based on the results of the past period. These are revenue per employee, growth rate of own revenues, and wages.
“The target for wage growth has been met,” emphasized the head of the district. “For January-May 2019, it amounted to 834.7 rubles, or 96.4% of the regional average, with a target indicator of 93.8%.”
At the same time, based on the results of January-May, two target indicators were not met – the growth rate of the number of people employed in the economy and investment in fixed capital per capita.

The speech of the chairman of the district executive committee was continued by an open dialogue with representatives of labor collectives. They raised the issue of wage growth in Orsha in individual organizations.
– First of all, labor productivity must grow faster than wages, – the head of the district expressed his opinion. – Then there will be an opportunity to increase them. There are many components here, starting with the manager, who is obliged to think about the strategy and prospects for the development of his enterprise. Accordingly, all services must also work seriously. After all, the issue is multifaceted – it includes reducing production costs, expenses, and the cost of manufactured goods. There are opportunities to increase wages at every enterprise. It is necessary to calculate and develop a clear strategy.
