Head of the Republic of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg visited the Orshansky district

Vladislav Khovalyg visited the Orsha Flax Mill, the "Ustenksy" dairy complex of RUP "Ustye NAS of Belarus", the multimodal industrial and logistics complex of OOO "Bremino – Orsha" and the "Ustye" production and technical cluster.
– I am very impressed with Belarus and its potential, – shared Vladislav Khovalyg. – The meeting in Minsk with Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko was warm. We discussed the main aspects of our interaction. After visiting the Orsha Flax Mill, we will consider how profitable it is to grow flax in the Republic of Tuva. We have a lot of vacant land, and the flax growing direction needs to be carefully studied.
The Head of the Republic of Tuva noted that the Siberian region is agrarian.
– Our main focus is the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. And here we want to adopt the best practices and technologies of the Republic of Belarus, – noted Vladislav Khovalyg. – We plan to build a large dairy farm in the republic. We will develop and cooperate in tourism – the potential is great.
The Head of the Republic of Tuva got acquainted in detail with the production of RUPTP "Orsha Flax Mill". Sergey Sidin, Deputy General Director of the Orsha Flax Mill, informed that within the framework of Decree No. 506, the flax mill has been set clear tasks – this is primarily the next stage of modernization, which will increase the processing of domestic short fiber by 30% and the production of consumer goods from it.
– And most importantly, we will further deepen the processing of the fiber that is currently being harvested in excess by our agricultural enterprises, – he emphasized. – Currently, a set of measures related to the modernization stage of Factory No. 1 is already partially ready, a short flax fiber cationization line has been installed. It will allow us to fulfill all planned volumes. The equipment has been installed – its adaptation to our raw materials is underway, and the commissioning process is in progress. In the near future, a bleaching section for already cationized fiber will start operating. This will allow us to obtain an innovative product that has not been produced in Belarus before. The new technology will make it possible to use bleached cationized fiber for the production of consumer goods. Including hygienic products, which were mentioned during the President's visit to the flax mill in 2018. This is all one chain that will allow us to obtain an innovative product with high added value from short flax fiber, which we are currently exporting, among other things.
Sergey Sidin noted that the Orsha Flax Mill was transferred the Artistically Crafted Goods Factory. And currently, the design and estimate work for this facility is being completed.
– A complete reconstruction will be carried out there, new modern equipment will be purchased, which will allow us to expand the output volumes of finished garment products under the brand of RUPTP "Orsha Flax Mill".
