Head of Vitebsk region Alexander Subbotin visited OOO «Belfood Production»
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin visited the children's food plant of "BelFood Production" LLC in the agro-town of Novka, Vitebsk district.
– The enterprise produces exclusive, special products that have stringent requirements. The latest modern technologies are used here. It is gratifying to see that "BelFood Production" plans to develop, expand, and enter new markets. We should not hinder, but help it in this, – noted Alexander Subbotin.
Alexander Mikhailovich said that, considering the situation around Ukraine, enterprises of the Vitebsk region are prepared for various obstacles they may encounter in promoting their products. Business operations may become significantly more complicated under the influence of sanctions. In this regard, many enterprises of the Vitebsk region have developed an algorithm for leveling out possible risks and are doing everything possible to ensure that these challenges do not affect the development of the region's economy.
As Vitaly Belov, General Director of "BelFood Production" LLC, explained, this year the enterprise will launch at least 4 new lines of food products. Since production volumes keep pace with sales, it is planned to increase the production capacity of one of the workshops by 30 percent. In total, "BelFood Production" LLC produces up to 15 million packages per month. More than half of this output is exported and supplied to 13 countries. The main markets are Russia, as well as the near abroad and Central Asia, where halal products are in high demand.
The quality and safety of the plant's products are confirmed by the state registration certificates of the EAEU. "BelFood Production" LLC was the first children's food producer in Belarus to be certified under the European organic product certification system (EURO-LEAF). All products are manufactured under the control of a European partner – B.P.G. European Baby Food Limited.
