The chief accountant of the Chashniki district sanitary station systematically inflated her own salary

The chief accountant of the Chashniki District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology unreasonably inflated her own salary. She entered false data into the payment lists and sent them to the bank, receiving "extra" money into her card account.

Thus, by abusing her official powers, the 38-year-old woman committed embezzlement of budget funds totaling more than 170 million rubles from November 2009 to May 2014. At that time, it amounted to more than a thousand basic units and was considered a particularly large amount.

In September 2014, the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case. The chief accountant was immediately suspended from her duties and subsequently dismissed.

In 2015, the Chashniki District Court found her guilty and sentenced her to five years of imprisonment with a suspended sentence, deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for a period of five years, and confiscation of property.

The woman fully compensated for the damage caused. The sentence has entered into legal force.
