The main venue of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk", the Summer Amphitheater, will turn into a noisy and fun "School Bazaar" for one day, August 29, the head of the trade department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Irina Levkovich, told a BELTA correspondent. The traditional fair of goods for schoolchildren will be held at the concert and sports complex for the first time. More than 50 industrial and trade enterprises will take part in it, presenting a wide range of children's goods, stationery, and food products. As Irina Levkovich noted, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the organizer of the fair, did not accidentally choose the Summer Amphitheater as the venue. After all, in addition to expanded trade, schoolchildren and their parents will find many pleasant surprises. The City Committee of the BRSM will hold a Day of Favorite Games here, and creative groups of the city will give a charity concert on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater. On the eve of September 1, school fairs will be held in all district centers and cities of the region. Every week, expanded fairs and sales with discounts from 5% to 50% are held in the region. The turnover of weekend fairs and fairs of non-food goods since the beginning of the year amounted to over Br18 billion. -0-
