The celebration will be opened by the chairman of the regional trade union association Ivan Vozmitel. He will present diplomas and flowers to ten best trade union activists – on this day, the Honour Board of the regional trade union association will be updated with their portraits.

This day will be significant for the laureates of professional skill competitions held in industry trade unions last year. 20 winners will be awarded the title "Master of the Year of Vitebsk Region - 2017". Diplomas and valuable gifts will be presented to representatives of labour dynasties working in the fields of healthcare, education, agro-industrial complex, energy, and railway transport. Among the awardees will also be trade union committee chairpersons – winners of regional reviews and competitions for the best primary trade union organization and the best implementation of public control over labour protection.

The regional sports club of the FPB has prepared fun contests and humorous competitions, as well as demonstration performances by their trainees. A concert of amateur art by creative teams of enterprises and organizations of the city with the participation of contestants of the project "New Names of Belarus" will be a bright final chord of the celebration.
