The main press center of the II European Games welcomed the first journalists

The Main Press Centre for the upcoming multisport forum has opened at the Dynamo National Olympic Stadium. Although the opening ceremony is still a few days away, the hub for journalists from all over Europe has already welcomed its first guests.

The comfortable press centre, designed for 200 seats, is equipped with everything necessary to ensure the work of journalists: public access computers, screens broadcasting competitions from all Games venues, printing services, statistical data, and much more.

In addition to the international media team – journalists from 52 countries will gather for the Games in Minsk – an international team of volunteers is also working at the Main Press Centre.

"I am very happy to come to Minsk. This is not my first experience participating in such competitions," shares Judith Gounon, a 72-year-old volunteer from Great Britain, her impressions from the first day of work. "I first tried myself as a volunteer at the Olympic Games in London in 2012, then there was the Olympics in Rio. Immediately after the II European Games, I will go to the Pan American Games in Peru. Volunteering has already become my way of life. It allows not only to see the world but also to make new friends and expand my social circle."

We remind you that the opening and closing ceremonies of the II European Games 2019, as well as athletics competitions, will be held at the Dynamo National Stadium.
