Gleb Lapitsky: The main brand of "Slavianski Bazaar" is the festive atmosphere
"We have never competed with Eurovision. There is no point in this, as we pursue completely different goals," said Gleb Lapitsky. - "Eurovision creates a purely television product, while we create an atmosphere. For 30 years, people have been coming to "Slavianski Bazaar" not only for the contestants or performers performing on the main stage, but for the festive atmosphere that we have. This is the main brand of the festival." He also added that politics should never interfere with creativity.
In addition, the director spoke about what "Slavianski Bazaar" will surprise with in 2021. "For the first time in 30 years, we will show a real ice show on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater - rock hits performed on ice," he emphasized.
Also, according to him, many premieres will be demonstrated at the festival. "In particular, the show ballet "Todes" is preparing a new program to show it at "Slavianski Bazaar". Duets of artists from different countries of the world will be presented along with our Belarusian performers," noted Gleb Lapitsky. - "One of our main tasks is to gather all Slavic countries at the XXX festival, which we are currently working on. I hope we succeed."
As reported earlier, the XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from July 14 to 19. The grand opening ceremony of the festival will take place on July 15 on the main stage. During the ceremony, the special award of the President "Through Art - to Peace and Understanding" will be presented, and a gala concert will be held. Traditional competitions - adult and children's - will also take place during the festival days.
This year, familiar projects will delight the festival's fans - the Day of the Union State, the night concerts "Golden Hit" and "Rhythms of Summer", the concert "Shanson TV - All Stars". In a special atmosphere, the organizers plan to hold a gala concert of the masters of arts of Belarus.
