OJSC "Gluboksky Feed Mill" plans to build a mini-plant for processing rapeseed in 2010, the chief engineer of the enterprise Alexander Kharevich told a BELTA correspondent. In accordance with the business plan, the facility will be located in the former groats workshop. The cost of the Czech equipment installed here will be about Br2.5 billion. The required amount of funds for construction work is being calculated. The production will be designed to process 20 thousand tons of raw materials per year. After reaching design capacity, this will increase the entire annual production volume of the enterprise by 25-30%. Currently, the plant produces about 56 thousand tons of feed and 300 tons of pearl barley per year. The enterprise plans to obtain the design and estimate documentation for the new facility within the next few months, after which it will immediately begin its construction. The launch of the mini-plant is scheduled for the current year. In 2009, the plant produced products worth Br24 billion, which is 15.1% higher than the previous year's level. The energy saving indicator with a target of minus 11% was minus 17.9%. Investments in fixed assets reached Br3.8 billion. Gluboksky Feed Mill was founded in 1974, and was corporatized in December 2009. It has a production site for poultry production in Polotsk. It specializes in the production of feed and pearl barley, and poultry products. The average number of employees, including the Polotsk site, is over 370 people. -0-
