Glubokoye cannery has allocated over 200 thousand euros for the modernization of its juice production workshop

OJSC "Gluboksky Cannery" has invested over 200 thousand euros in the modernization of its juice production workshop, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. With these investments, the plant purchased a press for apple processing. Modern equipment from German manufacturers has already replaced its outdated predecessor. Its capacity is 10 tons of apples per hour, which is twice the capacity of the previous equipment. Specialists from Germany will arrive at the enterprise in the third quarter to set up the press. The launch is planned for the apple season. The commissioning of the new press will allow processing a larger volume of raw materials in a shorter period of time. In addition, the high quality of the resulting apple juice will be ensured, specialists noted. In January-May, the plant produced products worth Br3 billion, which is 66.2% more than last year. The energy saving indicator was minus 11.4% with a target of minus 11%. Based on the results of four months, product output increased by more than 50%, which contributed to a nearly fourfold reduction in warehouse stocks compared to the same period in 2008. The main part of the products is sold in Belarus. A small part is exported to Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. These are mainly dinner products, green peas, and juices. The enterprise was founded in 1946 and transformed into an OJSC in 2002. It specializes in the production of fruit and vegetable products, canned dinners, juices, and concentrates. The range of products manufactured includes about 100 items. The plant's production capacity is about 32 million conventional cans per year. -0-
