Glubokoye Dairy Plant plans to master the production of dry whey and instant milk

The plant plans to invest Br13.6 million in fixed capital in 2017. The main investments are the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a workshop that will produce dry whey and dry dairy products. The total cost of the project is Br41.6 million, the readiness of the facility, excluding technological equipment, is 81%. "At the newly created production facility, two products with high export potential will be produced on one technological line: demineralized dry whey (up to 90%) and instantized lecithinized milk powder. It is also planned to master the production of an innovative product - a feed additive containing lactulose with prebiotic action based on milk whey for young farm animals. The product is called "Lactumin," the plant explained.

The enterprise emphasized that the new workshop will increase sales revenue by 18%, including export revenue by 34%.

It is expected that the profitability of product sales will exceed 27%, and the added value per employee engaged in the created production will amount to Br85 thousand. According to the results of 2016, the growth rate of industrial production volumes at current prices was almost 130%. Sales profitability was 14.3%. Over the past year, products worth $34 million were exported. The main foreign economic partner of the plant is Russia (88% of the total volume of supplies).

In addition, shipments are made to CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Ukraine) and far abroad (USA, Israel, Lithuania, UAE).
