The Glubokoye branch of Braslavryba has doubled its supply of canned goods to the domestic market

Having fallen under the temporary restriction of Rosselkhoznadzor on the import of products into Russia at the end of last year, the staff of the Glubokoye MKC branch "Braslavryba" was forced to urgently reorient to the domestic market, take into account the demand of domestic consumers, their preferences in choosing canned goods from freshwater and marine fish, and convince them that they produce a quality product at prices that are advantageous compared to other processors. And, judging by the indicators, they managed to achieve this.

For 10 months, the plant shipped products worth 5.3 million rubles to the retail chain, thereby increasing its supply to the domestic market by more than 2 times. For 9 months, it received a profit of 336 thousand rubles from sales.

First of all, we started, says branch director Georgy Tsetsero, by expanding sales channels, concluding agreements for the supply of canned goods with the largest retail chains in Belarus, "Euroopt", "Belkoopinvesttorg", and "Belinterproduct", through which most of the products are sold.

And the plant produces 32 types of products. The assortment is constantly updated, sensitively responding to the taste preferences of buyers. To do this, the Braslav residents expanded the geography of raw material procurement.

Marine fish are purchased in Finland and Russia; recently, Crimean suppliers have been added to the Kaliningrad suppliers, and to the traditional Baltic sprats, European pilchard, herring, and cod, bullheads and Black Sea pilchard have been added, from which natural canned goods are prepared, in oil, tomato sauce, with vegetables. A choice for every taste. As well as for those who love lake fish. More than a dozen types of canned goods are produced from it.

However, raw materials are also imported from abroad, purchased in Astrakhan. Only a few tons of local raw materials go for processing, as they are mainly sold fresh.

By the way, the recipes for canned goods are developed on-site, in the plant's laboratory. Technologist Alena Bartkun has extensive experience in this matter. As a result, Braslav sprats are not inferior in taste to traditional Baltic sprats, and are cheaper in price. And there are many such examples.

Not

The enterprise is standing still and undergoing technical re-equipment. This year, the team invested 186 thousand rubles of its own funds in the repair of the laboratory, which is awaiting accreditation, and in the upgrade of equipment. In November, the installation of the last of the seven modern autoclaves was completed here, which should further improve the quality of production.

– The human factor is excluded from the process, – says leading economist Zhanna Navumova. – The computer will not forget, will not delay during the thermal processing of canned goods. It will perfectly execute the programmed program.

The installation of a new line is next. The plant has purchased a washer and dryer for cans, and a labeling machine, thus minimizing manual labor in these areas. A fourth team will be formed from the workers who will be freed up after the launch of the new equipment.

– Next year, we will be able to double our production volume, – states Georgy Tsyatsera. – There is no need for such a quantity of our products on the domestic market. Life forces us to return to the Russian market, because our canned goods are of high quality and affordable. Therefore, we are persistently moving towards the implementation of the international HACCP system and are confident that we will receive the certificate needed for us to enter the international market.
