The anniversary of the October Revolution was celebrated in Vitebsk

 

Today, representatives of the Communist Party of Belarus gathered at the Lenin monument near the regional philharmonic hall. Representatives of the authorities and the public were also present at the rally. Those present emphasized that in the autumn of 1917, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers proved that ordinary people, workers and peasants, could not only seize power but also create the greatest and most powerful state.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

The October Socialist Revolution ushered in an era of change worldwide and affirmed the principles of equality and justice. For Belarus, the main value of the Great October was the opportunity to establish statehood.
