This was reported in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by observer Olga Malakhova from the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, who is accredited at polling station No. 17 for the elections to the Vitebsk Regional and City Councils of Deputies. According to her, at the polling station, the process of citizens' will expression, both on the main election day and during early voting, is organized with maximum publicity. Observers had the opportunity to be present when ballot boxes were sealed, and when ballot box slots were opened and sealed during early voting days. Lists of those who voted were posted daily on the information stand. Voters have complete information about the candidates for deputies, so they can make an informed choice. Citizens come to the polling station with their families and in a positive mood; in the morning, mainly pensioners came to vote, and by noon, there were noticeably more young people, shared Olga Malakhova.
