Hot water in the Vitebsk region will be shut off for no more than 2 weeks

This was announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by Pavel Kharitonov, General Director of the Vitebsk Republican Unitary Enterprise of Electric Power Engineering "Vitebskenergo", as reported by a BELTA correspondent. The shutdown of heat supply sections in the region began on May 10, and so far, energy and utility workers intend to strictly adhere to the standards. At the same time, the lack of coordination between the employees of heat supply networks and housing and communal services sometimes leads to the fact that the previously announced water supply restoration dates are postponed by 1-2 days. Vladimir Novatsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, demanded that these, albeit isolated, cases be prevented. It is worth noting that in Vitebsk, during the international festival of arts "Slavianski Bazaar", the hot water shutdown schedule is drawn up in such a way that all hotels and dormitories where guests will be accommodated are connected to the hot water supply during this period. -0-
