A city playground has appeared in Glubokoye

August 4, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. A children's playground has appeared in Glubokoye. The grand opening of the new facility will take place on August 14, the Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Alexey Yankevich, told a BELTA correspondent.

The "Planet of Kids" playground, with a total area of about 1 hectare, is located on the shore of Lake Kagalnoye on the side of OJSC "Kuptsov". Numerous slides and swings, inflatable attractions, trampolines, small architectural forms have been installed here, a tennis court has been equipped, paths for rollerblading and cycling, and a platform for toddlers to ride electric cars, which turns into an ice rink in winter. Sports equipment can be rented by children and their parents at the nearby rental station. Taking into account the proximity of the lake, a two-story lifeguard tower has also been installed here.

"More than Br300 million was required for the creation of this facility. All enterprises and organizations of the district contributed their share," emphasized Alexey Yankevich.

The residents of Glubokoye will celebrate this significant event with a big holiday. Thus, the exemplary circus of the Sharkovshchina House of Culture will perform at the playground, and parkour competitions will be held. The Latvian dance group "Gaida" (Prel, Latvia) will demonstrate its skills on the central square of the district center, after which the most beautiful girls of the city will compete for the title of the most beautiful girl. In the evening, guests of the holiday will enjoy a concert with the participation of Uncle Vanya and Galina Shishkova, as well as an electronic music festival from the best DJs of the district.-0-
