Vitebsk city passenger transport will switch to festival operating mode from July 11

July 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Public transport in Vitebsk will switch to a festival operation mode from July 11, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. By order of the City Executive Committee, the operation of city passenger transport is being reorganized in connection with the XXI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". From July 11 to July 20, passenger transport operation will be extended until 3:00 AM on 14 city bus routes, 6 trolleybus routes, and 4 tram routes. Round-the-clock operation of mobile dispatch posts will be provided at Pobedy and Svobody squares, and the necessary number of additional schedules will be calculated. Thus, all parts of the city, including outskirts and residential areas, will be connected to the central concert venues of the festival. City enterprises engaged in public transportation have provided schedules for vehicle dispatch, taking into account the end of night concerts at the Summer Amphitheater. The branch "Bus Depot No. 1 of Vitebsk" of OJSC "Vitebskoblavtotrans" will additionally allocate 17 buses by the end of the concerts, and the UPTP "Vitebsk Tram and Trolleybus Administration" will allocate 17 trolleybuses and 12 trams. In case the concerts last longer than planned, carriers promise to ensure prompt changes to the movement schedules of rolling stock, and in case of disruptions in the operation of city electric transport, an additional number of buses will be allocated. -0-
