"Ded Moroz's Living Rooms" appeared in the Vitebsk region

More than 20 cultural institutions in Polotsk district have changed their official names on the eve of the New Year - until January 7, they will feature signs "Ded Moroz's Living Room", the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee reported.

Fairy-tale institutions operating in 14 rural councils offer visitors a wide range of entertainment services. Here, the "New Year's Order Desk" is available, where you can order a New Year's event or a congratulation from Ded Moroz and Snegurochka; "New Year's Post", through which you can leave congratulations and wishes (Ded Moroz will deliver them to the addressee or read them at the New Year's event); "New Year's Predictions from Ded Moroz", and much more.

The living rooms feature screenings of thematic cartoons, for the little ones - a flannel board theater, exhibitions of antique New Year's decorations, non-standard Christmas trees are open, morning performances are held, journeys through H.C. Andersen's winter fairy tales, master classes in quilling and vytynanka. Each visitor will be able to show their creative abilities. For example, Ded Moroz will invite children and adults to decorate a Christmas tree together, solve riddles, compose poems, take part in a photo session with fairy-tale characters, as well as in various promotions, such as "New Year's Bookcrossing". "Everyone who believes in miracles and wants to spend time in a New Year's atmosphere will find amazing surprises, a good mood, and a lot of positive emotions," the press service emphasized, reminding that Ded Moroz's residence is open in the district, where guests are also welcome. In addition, until January 7, the New Year's "Club on Wheels" will travel around the district, and in Polotsk itself, a "New Year's Bus Route" has been organized.

Polotsk district is not the only one where unusual establishments have appeared on holidays. Thus, the residence of Ded Moroz is open in the Chashniki city House of Culture. In Senno, the main winter wizard has settled in the district center of culture and folk art. Charitable events for children are held in all districts of the region these days. Directly on the holidays, game, dance and concert programs, contests, theatrical performances, and discos are planned in cities and district centers.
